I saw this as as low descent, actually. The breeze pushing the snail, but the snail hangs on, slowly descending. The breeze almost having no effect, except for ticking the snail’s back.
I really like the fact that the comic can be interpreted differently depending on the reader. Just like a haiku can have different interpretation depending on who reads it. Thanks for your feedback.
Oh yes, I also saw the descent as being desperately slow – hence all the blank panels – but I imagined that the snail, feeling the wind at his book, would feel as if he was racing out of control 🙂
Oh the gathering drama of those empty panels! As the poor out-of-control snail veers wildly at the mercy of the gale! 🙂
