February 1-28: National Haiku Writing Month. Write one haiku per day for a month and post your poems on NaHaiWriMo Facebook page).

February 1: Multiverses (for the Spring issue).

February 1: Notes from the Gean

February 14: Betty Drevniok Award for members of Haiku Canada. 5$ entry fee for up to three haiku. Winners announced May 2013.

February 15: Gusts. Members can submit 3 tankas for the spring/summer issue.

February 28: Ito En Oi Ocha Haiku Contest

February 28 International Haiku Contest “Sharpening the Green Pencil” Submission period begins Feb. 1 and ends Feb. 28. Send 2 unpublished haiku byby email, no attachment please, to eduard_tara@yahoo.fr

February 28: Japan–Lithuania HAIKU Contest 2012-2013 – Winter Season Haiku. Organized by The
Embassy of Japan in Lithuania. Send up to three Winter Season haiku.

February 28: The HSA Bernard Lionel Einbond Renku Competition.
